X-SERIES SideLocks

Progressive X-Series Side Locks provide positive guidance between cavities,cores,and stripper inserts.Pockets are machined on the side with the mold halves assembled.The dissimilar steels,heat treated to different hardnesses,protect galling or wear and binding due to unequal thermal expansion of the two halves of the mold.

  Male:          H-13,40-44 Rc

                     Melonited(SBN) to 65 Rc
