Seoul Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a producer of light-emitting diode (LED) application products. The Company's products include custom display LED products, displays with controllers, back lights, LED dot matrixes, LED lamps and arrays. Its products are used in traffic signals and automobile interior and exterior lighting systems. It also offers products such as photo diodes, photo transistors and photo interrupters. These are used in remote controllers for home appliances, tape detection sensors and counters for cassette and video tape decks, as well as automatic doors, belt conveyors, bar code readers, coin detectors for vending machines and dust sensors for vacuum cleaners. During the year ended December 31, 2006, it had an annual production capacity of 2,835 million LED chips and its actual production output was 2,114 million chips. Headquartered in Seoul, the Company supplies its products to Samsung Electronics, Samsung SDI and LG Electronics.

Acriche is the world’s first semiconductor light source that operates directly from AC power without a converter. This makes it suitable for many residential and commercial lighting applications where the main source of available power is AC. A design with Acriche product minimizes component count and board space. Acriche (pronounced ‘Ak rich) comes from the Greek “Acro” which means “the top” and the French “riche” meaning richness.
Z-Power LED is high luminous flux and large output LED(150mA ~ 1A), application is general lighting. Low power consumption, semi-permanent, low maintenance cost.
Side View LED drive by low electric power and size is from 1.0t to 0.4t (most slim sized). Application is midsize BLU like mobile phone. Especially new white products pride high gamut.
From lighting to automotive field, main appications of Top View LEDs are very wide. The wide length of Top View LEDs color, size and etc provide various kinds of lighting solutions upon customers demand.
The Chip LED offers a wide range of features in brightness, color and PKG size. SSC's leading technology leverages the mobile phone keypad market to offer packages as small as 0.17 mm in thickness. Color choices include a wide range of individual colors as well as dual, RGB and full color combinations. The wide range of luminous intensity offerings makes these products suitable in applications from indicator lights to camera flashes and general illumination.
The Lamp LED’s particularly high brightness and extremely hot temperature is best suitable for outdoor applications such as traffic lighting or sign lighting.
High Flux LED has high power and is especially known for its brightness which makes it most suitable for vehicle stop signs, directional signs or electronic signs.
LDM (LED Dot Matrix) is mainly used in notice boards or billboards. We provide a variety of types and colors of LDMs, especially of which a reaction velocity is as fast as customers need.

Along with the Photo Transistor and Sensor, a separate receiving and emitting element will be produced. The chip package of the Photo Transistor’s size is 3.0 X 1.5 X 1.4 mm which is extremely small and suitable for most practical applications.
